Hello, I am looking for a way to achieve the following: Some studies need to have their settings adjusted differently depending not only on the market, but also the time of day and other factors. I am taking the Large Volume Trade study as an example. I would like to have a button (preferably on the control bar but other methods like hotkeys would also be okay) that I can press and it will change for example "Volume Threshold" in the study settings to a particular predefined value on the currently active chart. Even better if you weren't limited to one input but have several predefined configurations for that study that you can load with the press of a button. EDIT: I thought about having different study collections that only differ by the settings that I want changed, but that seems a bit cumbersome. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-03-14 11:48:16

To start, refer to the following that allows you to change Input values through the keyboard: Chart Studies: Changing Study Inputs Directly from Chart To do what you want, you would need to create a custom study. Refer to the following: ACSIL Interface Members - Functions: sc.SetChartStudyInputFloat() Advanced Custom Study Interaction With Menus, Control Bar Buttons, Pointer Events https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartStudyAndSystemProgrammers.php For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
