For SPY on 03/06/2025
Daily Volume: 80.1mm
390-Minute Bar Volume: 48.7mm

How should I set my bars so that they will show Ask/Bid Volume Difference (which I understand works only on intraday charts) while also utilizing all the days' data? FYI, I'm tracking only U.S. stocks.

SPY trades from 04:00 to 20:00 Eastern US time. So the Daily Volume you are seeing is from those times.

390 minutes does not cover this time period. If you want to cover the same time period, then you need to set your Session Times to cover that time and then set your Bar Period to be 960 minutes. Refer to the following:
Chart Session Times

Chart Settings: Days-Minutes-Seconds-Milliseconds Per Bar (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Bar Period >> Intraday Chart Bar Period Settings menu)

The difference between Daily Volume and Volume exists for all the stock names I've checked (e.g., AMZN, XLF, etc.).

Is this because Daily Volume is including pre- and post-market volume?

BTW, when I updated the bar period session from 0-390-0 to 1-0-0, the chart refreshed but showed only about 30 days. I went to Chart Settings>>Data Limiting and set the "Days to Load for Intraday Chart Data Type" to 360, and more days appeared, but only to 9/3/2024. How do I get more days to appear?

You need to determine how the Daily Volume is calculated from wherever you are getting the daily volume information.
