is there a way to use the swing high and low indicator to only display the opening swing or is there some other indicator that can do this ?

We assume that you want to only show the Swing High and Low within a certain time window. If this is correct, then the attached Study Collection gives you an example of how to do this using the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" to color the Swing High the same as the background color (in this case black). This Study Collection only does the Swing High and only shows the swing High between 09:00 and 10:00 - you would need to add another Color Bar Based on Alert Condition to cover the Swing Low.
