SC, Can you please add a way to do the following settings with ACSIL for a given chart number? 1) Market Depth Combine Increments in Ticks 2) Maximum Market Depth Levels I can reload the chart after changing these settings as necessary. Thanks. Have a great day! |

1. Refer to the following: ACSIL Interface Members - Functions: sc.SetChartStudyInputInt() 2. We are curious what the use case is that you would need to be changing the Maximum Market Depth levels often. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

These are chart level settings so I don't think I can change it with sc.SetChartStudyInputInt(). I wish all the existing chart level settings were available to be read/modified via ACSIL. By default, all new settings also should be added to ACSIL, IMO, even if they are not documented. The use case -- When I switch from one instrument to another (typically, on a given day, there will be many stocks in the watchlist) there are many things that need to be adjusted before the chart is usable. 1) Tick size 2) Constant range for the price scale 3) Horizontal Grid Line increment 4) Market Depth Combine Increment in Ticks -- otherwise, the DOM looks crowded with numbers that cannot easily be read 5) Maximum Market Depth Levels -- this also gets affected when #4 changes above 6) Symbol change I change these programmatically (for the ones available via ACSIL) as a group. I do the same for all the studies as well in the same operation. Finding and changing these setting manually takes a long time and it is too many clicks. Doing it programmatically finishes under 1 second. |

Hi, Adjusting Market Depth Combine Increments in Ticks in the Chart Settings each time I change the instruments in the chart is getting somewhat cumbersome. Is there a chance this one setting can be modified via ACSIL soon, please? I day trade momentum and I choose stocks that show up on a scanner so I have to switch the instrument many times in a day. Thanks. |
