I have seen this study working in another chartbook, but I am unable to get it to work in a chartbook of my own - with a trading spreadsheet. My intention is to attach an OCO set of child orders to a working entry order. - My spreadsheet correctly creates a working buy stop order in replay. - But there are no attached child orders visible as per the Trade Management by Study settings. - The stop buy order is filled, and yet still no attached child orders are created. I have attached the settings image for the attached stop loss, as far as I can tell, all settings are correct. There are no messages in the TAL or Trade Services Log. I enabled detailed logging in Trade Management by Study. It gives some clues: - When the parent entry order is created, I get the study messages: "Position does not exist" and also "There is no Stop/Target attached order found" - when the parent entry order is filled, I get the study message: "There is no Stop/Target attached order found" Is there any special settings in the Trade Window required to make it work? Trade Management by Study does not create orders. It will only modify the price of an Attached Order.

Thank you It will only modify the price of an Attached Order.
Using a spreadsheet for trading, how do I create those attached orders in the first place? Sorry for the basic question. Is it by using cells J80 and J81? Edit - The answer is yes, I worked it out. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-02-22 04:57:19

You can either use cells in the Spreadsheet System for Trading, or if those are blank then when you place an order it will use the Attached Orders as set on the Trade Window for that chart (assuming the option for "Use Attached Orders" is enabled.
