[User Discussion] - Zig Zag does not work on inside reversals

Zig Zag works on New Day Highs and Lows ONLY. It does not trigger on "inside" reversals. Meaning When a reversal on an up trend occur just below the previous reversal or just above the previous low ZigZag does not alert. Friday Feb 14 the E Micros was inside the day's high and low and reversed when nearing the day's hig and lows several times BUT Zig Zag never alerted!! Is this a setting issue or a ZigZag problem? It could be two inputs. One is the # of bars between H-L , the other is amount of movement needed in price. Also, I would reread the Calculation Mode selected, to see if it behaves the way you are expecting. Hope this helps. JohnR |
