I'm experimenting with the "Bid & Ask Depth Bars Old" study. On a 1 min timeframe, at 09:32:00, I am getting a value of 1128. However, on a 10 second timeframe, at 09:31:50, I am getting a value of 1332. The the two studies on the two charts are set to exactly the same settings (Difference (Ask - Bid) Calculation mode, Historical Market Depth Last, and max depth levels of 20). Why would there be a difference? I would think they should be exactly equal.

To start with, we do not recommend using the "Bid and Ask Depth Bars - Old" study. It was only kept around for people that had been using it previously. You should use the "Bid and Ask Depth Bars" study to ensure that you have the correct results. Next, the Bid and Ask Depth Bars do not give a cumulative value. For the "Difference (Ask - Bid)" setting, it is giving you the Sum of the Ask Market Depth minus the Sum of the Bid Market Depth for each bar. The Open represents the difference at the open of the bar, the High is largest difference seen within that bar, the Low is the smallest difference seen within that bar, and the Close is the difference at the close of that bar. Therefore, a 1 minute bar and 10 second bar are going to have different values.
