Hi, I am trying to replicate Tradingview Range bar 10R on EURUSD but have been unsuccessful. I looked up the support forum and tried Sawtooth advice, but it's not working. Please advise. |

I want to replicate a Range bar chart, which is available in the tool called TradingView. Example: If I want to create range bar chart with interval of 10R, it would be 10 pips range bar for EURUSD. I tried using the Range per bar - standard(ticks) with period value =10. As per tradingview , the create the bars like this: The Range interval sets the range in which the price moves, which in turn initiates the formation of a new bar. 1 Range equals to one minimum price change. This value can be presented with the following formula. 1 Range = Min Move / Price Scale |

To get a Range Bar in Sierra Chart set the Bar Period to one of the Range options and set the value for the range. Refer to the following setting and the one below it: Chart Settings: Bar Period Type (List) (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Bar Period >> Intraday Chart Bar Period Settings menu) If you have done this and it is not working as you expect, then we need to know what is different.
