Hello Support, As of few days ago my Siearra instance connected to SC "Trading Evaluator [Trading]" accounts stopped working as it did before on the TPO chart (just TPO, all other charts are fine). This Trading Evaluator instance is configured to display only last night ETH session and to combine everything before last ETH session into RTH automatically. For some reason it stopped working as it did and continue to display prior ETH sessions unless I recalculate the chart manually. I have not touched settings on TPO for more than a year and nothing else has changed in settings this Trading Evaluator / Test instance. Both (my live trading account and Trading Evaluator) instances are same version (2700). I thought that perhaps I've accidently changed something so copied this same exact chartbook from my live trading SC instance into Trading Evaluator and the problem still persists - ETH on Trading Evaluator is no longer being combined while the Live Trading account instance working properly. I am attaching snapshot of the chart and settings for the TPO. Could you please advise what could be the issue? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-01-30 06:17:20

In general, Sierra Chart does not redraw the entire chart. So as items are added over time, the way the chart was previously will continue to be so. This means that if you have not exited from Sierra Chart, or if you have not forced a recalculation for some reason, then you would continue to see the previous Evening Session profiles as they are moved to the left with new data. When you see this, select the "Chart >> Reload and Recalculate" option and your chart will update to what you are expecting. Hi John, This was always working correctly as described for "Exclude Evening Session Profiles Except For LastDay". Once the new ETH session was opening (6 PM EST), the ETH session for the prior day was automatically combined into prior day RTH and the currently active ETH profile begins to be painted. No manual chart recalculation was required. In fact, it's still working correctly on my live SC instance connected to real trading account. This problem started as of few days ago. As I've mentioned in the opening post, same exact chartbook behaves differently on live and none-live SC instance (I have copied this chartbook back and forth several times). It works as before on the live trading account and stopped combining the older ETH sessions on the SC Trading Simulator instance. |

There are any number of reasons why a chart may be recalculated and update to what you are expecting to see. But we can not say why it was occurring for you previously and not now. If you select "Chart >> Reload and Recalculate" does the problem resolve itself? If so, then there is nothing we can specifically do, as it is what we described originally. "Chart >> Reload and Recalculate" does resolve the issue. However, only up until the next session open (6 PM EST). Then the prior ETH still remains on the chart unless it's again manually recalculated. I clearly remember seeing this same exact problem about 4 years ago and back then SC also could not identify the problem. After a while this issue went away and now it's back again. What makes it questionable is that 2 SC instances of the same version on the same machine (live and Trading Evaluator) behave differently with the same exact chartbook. |

There is something in the instances that is different that is causing a recalculation. The only item we can think of, offhand, that would do this at the installation level, is the following: Advanced Service Settings: Reconnect (Global Settings >> Advanced Service Settings) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-01-30 17:57:50
