If I use TICK-SP for trade symbol and ES as trade and quote symbol, will this work in LIVE market data? Will the profits/loss I see in the trade monitor be the same in live trading? Thanks

As long as you are dealing with Market orders and offsets from the parent order you will be fine. The reason for this is that the prices between these two items are very different, so you can't enter information for a trade related to price, as you do not know the price of the ES at that time.

Refer to the following for using "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" and adjusting the "Currency Value per Tick":

Yes, I'm placing market orders only, thanks for the clarification.

So to be clear, you're just saying the orders will get placed, but you cannot assure the accuracy of the pnl because it can vary, due to the price difference?

TICK-SP is not a tradeable instrument. So you will not be able to trade from that chart. It works in Sim mode because the Simulation mode does not pay any attention to whether the symbol is tradeable or not (or even correct). Although if you were using the Trading Evaluator service, then that would show that this would not work.....This what you wrote to me two years ago when I asked about this same matter.. So what do I go with?

When you are using a "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" the instrument to be traded that is sent to the trading service is the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol". The main symbol of the chart has nothing to do with what is sent in this respect.

But, the difference in price could be an issue if you are trying to send orders that are based on price. As we have noted, you need to send Market orders and orders with an offset from the parent.

At this point, all we can tell you is to give it a try and see what happens.
