I use the Rectangle tool for support and resistance zones. There is no actual save button to save any changes.

So you want to change the default configuration for the Rectangle tool? There are buttons, located on the Config tab to do this. They work as they always have.

Those are not savable. You cannot set defaults for those. You can only change those for an existing Rectangle drawing on the chart. It's supported in the older versions and the settings are in the new window.

Also the new version doesn't support drawing the rectangles beyond the current day. What version would allow me to go back before the new settings window is used?

Regarding post #7 we are checking on this. But it would not make sense that the Anchor tab is visible through the drawing configuration window. It serves no purpose to set anchors before a drawing is drawn. They simply will be replaced by new values. And regarding post #8, this is just not true at all. You can draw a rectangle, into the forward projection area of the chart. There should be no trouble with this at all and nothing has changed. I've attached 3 pictures. 1. A 30 minute chart from Jan 14 - All the drawings on the 14th were created with the time set in the then active settings window, 9:30 - 9:29. This created a rectangle that extended to the next day. 2. Control Bar 2. All of the drawings are assigned to buttons on the control bar 3.The current global settings window for the rectangle tool showing the fields for use start and end time and the times. If I have to keep using the new menu, I'd have to change the times for every drawing every day, a miserable task, and again using the settings window I would not be able to extend the chart beyond 23:59 except by pulling it right. I know you're not going to change the program for me so what version of SC supports the old Global Config settings. |
