Hello, I do not have a live funded trading account yet. I dont want to bother funding one because I just want to trade demo for now. I would like to trade with live data on a demo account but it seems like thats not going to be possible. Can I use a demo account thru a broker or do I HAVE to have a live funded account? Thanks. |

If you want to have real-time data for the CME Group, then you need to have a live, funded, futures trading account. This is a requirement from the CME Group. Refer to the following: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges But, we have our Delayed Streaming Data that is 10 minutes and 10 seconds delayed from the CME Group and is available at no additional cost. It is available with any Sierra Chart package. Refer to the following: Delayed Exchange Data Feed You can also use this data with our "Simulated Futures Trading Service". Refer to the following: Simulated Futures Trading Service Therefore, you really do not need the real-time data if you are not doing live trading. You can even use one of our lower-cost "Base" packages.
