Hi,
Just upgraded the software, but the scroll chart (right ie back in time) does not work.
Scroll right does (ie more empty space)
as does shift+scroll to increase bar spacing or reduce.

Even on a fresh chart. no lock space. I have this issue.
Scrolling "downwards" does not move the chart back in time.
Nor did pressing the left arrow key

I have gone back to 2604 in the meantime
thanks

and now I have 2604 re-installed,
there a options missing when I "right click " on chart (only the last 3 show up)
and
pressing "END" no longer takes me to the current bar
pressing "HOME" does still take to the start of the chart

I have now gone back to 2735

The graphics for right-clicking on a chart are all back as they should be.

But
pressing "END" does not take you to the current bar.
pressing "HOME" works

CTRL+END does work.

However, once you have pressed "hOME" or gone to any position in the chart (that is not the current bar),
neither "left" or "right" arrow keys have any effect, nor does the scroll wheel.

In the recent version there have been major changes to the context menus (right click) as well as the main menus and the keyboard shortcuts.

Given that you went forward and then back and then forward again, we really need to ensure that you are in a good state. To do this, we need you to set the "Keyboard Shortcuts" to their default state. We apologize that you may have to redo your Keyboard Shortcut setups again, but since you are having some issues, we really need to do this.

To reset the Keyboard Shortcuts, do the following:
- Select "Global Settings >> Customize Keyboard Shortcuts"
- On the window that comes up, select the button for "Set All to Defaults".
- Select OK to close that window.

If you had any special keyboard shortcuts setup, then you will need to redo those. But first check and see if everything else is working as you expect.

I did as you suggested but the issue remained, although the "END " button now worked.

So, i first, did a fresh install of 2735. The issue remains.
and the message log appears every time i press the "left" arrow key giving some sort of "exception window event error".
Interestingly even in the message log window, I can click "right" arrow, but then it gets "stuck" and the "left" arrow has no effect.

So, I have created a fresh install of 2604, done the transfer of my old files, and am ok for now.

Please advise if you would like any further information.
I'm on a Windows 7 PC.

If you are good now, then that is fine. Although you really do need to update to a more recent release. Just be sure to not downgrade after you update and you should be fine. If not, then let us know.

Hi John,

I think you have misunterstood my last post.
I did do a fresh install of the latest version 2735.
But the issue remains.
The left arrow key still has problems as explained above.

THerfore, i then did a fresh install of 2604. Upgrading this install to 2735 will still cause issues, if a fresh install of it, already has the issue.

Would you like the log file, which shows the exception error?

No, the option for OpenGL is not enabled.

I will send the Log..
this is the exception that brings up the message log when i press the "left" key (and we are at the current bar)
