I am experiencing slow price movements on my charts--sometimes a second or so will pass before a movement, and then a jump in price for three or more ticks. I am aware of the Sierrachart web page on correcting poor performance and high CPU usage, and have made the adjustments that seem pertinent such as using a small number of days of data to load, adjusting chart update interval, eliminating unneeded charts, eliminating charts referring to other charts, and uninstalling anti-virus software. I have created a separate chartbook with only one chart with a simple numbers bar setup and no volume at price study, tested it with nothing else open, and still have the same issue. Have compared various settings with another user who does not have this issue, and find no differences. Can you suggest further steps? Thanks |
