I encountered an issue with my Sierra setup that I need assistance with: I was logged into Sierra on one PC without Trade Simulation Mode enabled. However, despite this, trades did not execute, and the Service Log indicates that it was due to Trade Simulation Mode. I also had another login using the same account on a different PC where Trade Simulation Mode was enabled. My understanding is that the Trade Simulation Mode setting on one PC should not affect another instance of Sierra running on a different PC without Trade Simulation Mode enabled. Could you please clarify why this occurred or provide guidance to resolve this issue? I have attached the screenshot of the trade service log Thank you for your support. |

Yes this is 100% correct: My understanding is that the Trade Simulation Mode setting on one PC should not affect another instance of Sierra running on a different PC without Trade Simulation Mode enabled.

Can SendOrdersToTradeService switch to no automatically when trade simulation is turned on and/or data service is disconnected and switched to sc data temporarily?

If this is your code, then it is up to you. But this will not be the case with any of the Sierra Chart studies. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
