HELP, lines moved

I had drawn some lines for trend and trading range. Days later, those lines were well below the candles.
So I erased them without making a screen cap, meaning now I lack proof.
What might have happened? How can I count on markups?

It appears that markups overlay candles, so might be on a different layer.

Were these drawn on the main price graph Candlesticks? Or on candlesticks for a study.

Main chart. I have not yet tried the other.

One possible reason is the chart is a futures contract chart and you changed to the next contract month.

At this point we cannot provide further help. We are only making guesses. Unless we knew exactly what you were doing and could see the lines, we cannot comment on this.

Now, on candles with two Keltner studies, I used shift-mouse-wheel to bring more x-axis, i.e., more into past. This screen cap shows that line markups were left above candles. Reversing process did not bring lines back to prices.

Can you consistently duplicate this problem?

Not consistently, but here is another example found today with settings from above.
Very similar appearance of those lines suggests copying between symbols.
In fact, those lines do NOT fit the candles of either of these examples.
Do note that these are FX, not futures, so no rollover.

Are you changing the symbol of the chart?

Here's another example which clearly shows that my lines don't belong to this symbol pair.

Yet a 4th example where lines don't belong to symbol.

One example is enough, please.

You need to uncheck Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings 2 >> Show Chart Drawings for Different Symbols.

Ok, done. I don't recall turning that on. Why might such option be useful?
I have yet to find chart on which I drew those copied lines.

I'd still like to know what this option could be used for. Seems "on" is a default which tripped me on a new chartbook.

Clever, but bad when copied to totally un related futures. Can this be controlled / targeted better than I have?
I watch lists of symbols.

The best thing to do is rather than opening a new chart through File >> Find Symbol , duplicate an existing one which uses your current settings. Refer to this help topic:
