hi, I just formated my PC and loaded XP on it, however, when I click on SC desktop icon (after a fresh install today) I get a popup window titled "Unable to locate component" and it says: "This application has failed to start because MSVCR100.dll was not found..." Reinstalling doesnt help. Advice please. Thank you |

Therefore, what you need to do is install the version with "New Spreadsheets": https://www.sierrachart.com/downloads/SierraChartSetupNoCLRPrerelease.exe Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Ok,thanks, this one did start I hope it will work with all my old spreadsheets that I have running in the background... Is there a file that can copy me all my global settings (like font size on quote board, global chart colors, toolbar settings etc.)? I have another instance of SC on another laptop, that's why I am asking Thank you |

If you are using spreadsheets, then you need to install the version of Sierra Chart that supports the "Old Spreadsheets". You can find it on the Software Download page: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php To solve the start of problem you will need to install .NET 4 on your XP system. You can copy your settings from another installation of Sierra Chart: Http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails15.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
