Can't open notepad

I'm using SC on a Macbook with parallels. When I try to open notepad I get an editor error message. I can see the path (C:\SierraChart...\notepad++.exe) when I search the path via global settings, but I cannot open it directly. When I try to open it via "Build Adv Custom Studies" I get the MS Visual Studio path in the "Visual C++ Path" window, but this editor does not open either. When I attempt to change the path by selecting "Browse" and then "Folder" I cannot find the notepad editor folder within any of the NPP folders. The only options visible are "autoCOmpletion, localization, plugins (Config, mimeTools, NppConverter, NppExport), themes, and userdefineLangs". PLease advise. Thx |

Go to your Sierra Chart installation folder and then look in the NPP subfolder. Do you see the notepad++.exe file in there?
