Hello, I was trading CRNC yesteraday and I noticed a big difference on the data that SIerra chart is showing. It really amde me doubt about what is correct and I checked other platforms with different data providers. On the left you can see ThinkOrSwim, on the middle Sierra chart and on the right TradeZero. TradeZero and ThinkOrSwim have LIVE data and all the exchanges. NOTICE THE BIG DIFFERENCE ON VOLUME, IT'S NOT THE FIRST TIME I NOTICE THIS. 3 MILLION ON THE VOLUME PEAKS AND SIERRA IS ONLY SHOWING 300K OR 500K. The volume and even the way that candlestick move don't show all the trades or movements (and I am not talking about LVL2 just a nromal chart with volume). HOw can this get better or is it simply Sierra not ready for stocks yet? I like SIerra and I would like to use it for stocks too, but with this volume it is not possible. Thank you |

The reason for the difference in volume is you are comparing a NASDAQ TotalView symbol to other providers. More information about NASDAQ TotalView: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Nasdaq TotalView Data Feed Notes You need to use the US equities consolidated tape data feed and symbols: US Stock/Equities Consolidated Tape Data Feed Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Ok, I think we discussed this earlier. I was given the response that with the TotalView data feed I get the data from all the exchanges for the market orders (volume etc) It seems now that to see the data for all the exchanges I need to get the consolidated tape data feed? tHank you |

No, the NASDAQ TotalView data feed is only trading on NASDAQ only. No other exchanges. But it does include all stocks including stocks that are listed on NYSE and AMEX. It seems now that to see the data for all the exchanges I need to get the consolidated tape data feed? Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Maybe that could solve my question. I was trading with Interactive a few months ago through SIerra chart. My fills were not good so I stopped using it. That's maybe because of I wasn't using all exchanges data and only nasdaq totalview? Are fills usually good through Interactive? I was also having problems not being filled on stops and things like that so I trade on TradeZero now, could that be solved? Thank you |

Live order fills are not going to be affected by the data feed. This is not possible. We see no reason why the order fills will not be good through Interactive Brokers. But this is not our area of expertise. Other users can comment on this. And as long as you are using stop orders which are sent to TWS, not client-side managed stops, you should not have any trouble with stops at all.
