Hi,
I often have peaks and valleys shown on my chart using labels rather than having lines on my chart. The only way that I've been able to do this is set the Volume Peaks and Volume Valleys subgraphs to the same color as the chart background with a separate color for the labels. The issue is that it means I always have to keep 'Draw Study Underneath Main Price Graph' so that it doesn't show lines on top of everything on my chart. This isn't always ideal as it make bar charts display over top of the Volume By Price study.

Is it possible to add dropdown menu option for 'None' for 'Extend Peaks and Valleys' so that we can still show peaks and valleys using just labels? Both 'Extend Value Area' and 'Extend Point of Control' have this option so that we can use subgraph labels without lines on the chart.

Thank you for your time.

In the Subgraphs section of VbP try "Subgraph Name and Value Labels Only" as draw style for peaks and valleys

You can't change the draw style for peaks and valleys in Volume by Price studies unfortunately. I ended up just creating a study that identifies peaks and valleys so that I can use subgraph labels. Thanks for the response though!

Sorry I thought this would be possible. Which study did you use to see only the labels and no lines?
