When using Historical Daily charts, you may see a message like this in the Sierra Chart Message Log:

UpdateChart CurrentQuoteIsForNewSession: TempSD.High=531, SD.High=561, TempSD.Low=-551, SD.Low=-551, Symbol=$TICK | 2013-03-21 10:41:33

This has been frequently occurring with Historical Daily market statistics charts. There is a technical reason why this occurs and it has to do with the daily high and low from the source data feed not updating immediately. We have worked around this issue and have implemented a solution. So these messages should really only be occurring at the start of a new trading session.

You should notice a difference on Monday.

One thing to note is that when you see a message like this, it does cause a full reload and recalculation of the Historical Daily chart. This should only occur infrequently.
