when setting symbol alerts and alerts on drawings like trendlines, can you update the default settings to be Last and Crossing or Equal. In most of my usage cases, i want the notification when the line is touched, and especially on the right click->add symbol alert default, its set for open and Above or Equal. thanks for your consideration. |

I use Above or Equal as my default, but what is the difference to Crossing or Equal? Is it that Above would continue to alert, while Crossing would end the alert once Above? Couldn't find it in the documentation.

if price is 100 and you set an alert at 95, the default "above or equal" will immediately trigger, since price is 'above or equal'. by switching the default to crossing, it will behave as expected for above price and below price alerts.
