When I take my account off SIM mode I do not see my trading account number in the dom drop down window. How can I fix this ?

You cannot control that.

Follow the instructions here to reconnect to the trading server:
File Menu: Procedure to Reconnect to the Data and Trade Servers

And then look in Trade >> Trade Service Log. There will be a message there showing how many trade accounts have been received. How many are received?

Tried everything. Cant place a trade. I get this message.

So we see the message showing that one account is received. It must be in the list of accounts. You must see it. Refer to:
Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Trade Account (Selecting Trade Account for Chart / Trade DOM)

Okay so you see the trading account number. However, when you say "still nothing" what exactly do you mean by that?
