Hello, How can I remove this annoying grid cluster on micro bitcoin chart? please see attached. This is a new blank chart with no indicator and 5000 tick on MBT with grid set to session. I noticed the more days to load I add the more cluster it adds and it only happens with MBT. are you aware of this? |

That is the "Forward Projection Area". The grid is showing like that since it is trying to guess at what increments the data might come in at for the future. Since you are using 5000 Trades it ends up showing as days. You can reduce the "Number of Forward Columns" to reduce the number of days that are showing in that area. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Number of Forward Columns (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display >> Chart Display Items menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hello, If you look at the attached 5000 Tick on AAPL and I'm using an hourly grid and the forward part of chart looks terrible. Now I wish I could set the "Forward Projection Area" to 1 but the min default is 10. Is there anyway I can create a study to hide or mask that portion of the chart so it's clean black on right. |

The only option would be to create a study that draws in the forward projection area. You could then set that study to cover everything in that area. Take a look at the code for the "Forward Projection Bars" for how to draw subgraph information in that area. Refer to the following: How to Build an Advanced Custom Study from Source Code https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartStudyAndSystemProgrammers.php For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
