Change of Operation between Text Tool and Static Text Tool

Dear Support I've noticed a change in operation between 'Text Tool' and 'Static Text Tool' and hope that you can provide the same operation in the Static Tool as in the standard 'abc Text Tool'. Explanation: When text has been placed on the chart using the basic 'abc Text Tool' it's incredibly useful to be able to select it and then by selecting a different 'Tool Config' to quickly update it's style/format which it does brilliantly. Thank you, this is a real time saver. When doing the same action using the 'Static Text Tool' its updating the 'style/format' as required but at the same time clearing/resetting the Text Value. Is there any chance engineering could remove the 'clear text' from the 'Static Text' tool? Many thanks. |
