I'm trying to use this order but the instructions on the website aren't very clear. Let's suppose that I want to execute an order with a 6 tick stop that when the price moves to a 5 tick profit, goes to a 1 tick profit and becomes a limit, and so on: when the price gose to a 10 tick profit, the limit moves to a 6 tick profit, etc... What should I do? If my understanding is correct, I should go to the Set tab > Stop-Limit Order Limit Offset > 5. Then Target > Type:Stop:Trig. Step Trail Stop Limit > Stop Offset: 6 / Trig. Offset: 5 / Trail Offset: 4 Is it right? |

Refer to the attached image for how you should configure the Stop. This should be what you want. The Stop-Limit Order Limit Offset is not relevant to the movement of the stop. Refer to the documentation here for this: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_TradeWindow.html#StopLimitOrderLimitOffset Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
