Hello! I'm trying to have the spreadsheet place a market order and then immediately enter the limit exit so that there is a limit order placed on the chart, meaning it goes in now and executes when the price is reached or better. I'm using column J for exit formula, and have coded a limit order equation that should bring about a limit exit, but I am wondering if there's a better way of doing this. I'm not sure whether to use columns L and N, since I want limit exits or stop exits. I saw that there is the possibility of using attached orders, but I want the limit based on a formula that sends the limit order in and has it execute once the price is reached. That price is not a fixed distance away, but instead is formulaic determined. How can I make the spreadsheet system for trading send in market entries and have limit or stop exits that are put in immediately after the entry orders, so that I can have other orders enter the market too, without my aggregate orders becoming top heavy and resulting in lower profit, but instead exiting sequentially because the limit order is placed immediately following the entry? Many thanks and much appreciation! |

What you are doing is correct. You are placing an order with a Take Profit Limit as an attached order.
