Hello, I recently deleted by entire installation of SC by accident and did not have a backup. I am trying to rebuild everything now and am unable to find user-contributed studies I had been using previously. I am seeing a notation here saying "no 3rd party studies authorized" on my account. Why would this be the case?

The particular studies you were using must not have been sent to your system through our automated method. This is not a problem, but you will need to contact the creator's of those studies and have them get you the files.

Hmm, I'm not sure why though. In the past I've always seen an entire list of user contributed studies. I have never needed to contact the creator before. Is it possible that something with my current configuration is blocking them? I can see the UserContributedStudies_64.dll file in the C:Sierra Chart > Data folder.

We look at the same page you do. There are no files setup for your account to be automatically downloaded. Did you have a different account at some point that might be the one that is setup for the downloads? The file named "UserContributedStudies_64.dll" contains studies that were contributed to Sierra Chart by users. This is different from any studies that you had purchased from a vendor and have them set to download to your system. Although if these are the studies you are looking for, then refer to the following (specifically Step #9) for how to access them: How to Use an Advanced Custom Study or a Study Collection: How to Use an Advanced Custom Study Provided To You For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
