Good morning this has happened to me several times last week and again today, I am wondering why when I flatten a trade it always goes against me, should I not be using the flattened bottom to close out a trade when I want to exist a position? if not what other options do I have? Thanks for your time and support

Flatten is the appropriate option. Keep in mind how the exchanges actually fill orders (at the Bid and Ask depending on the order type). So you need to understand what the actual pricing will be when you close out a position.

What if I enter into a buy Market position and want to take profits early before it hits my target do I hit flatten? or hit sell Market? which one of these options would better work in my favor? Thanks

They are exactly the same. Use whichever one you are most comfortable with. The one thing we want to state on this is that Flatten will flatten regardless of your position. If you are in a Long position, you would need to hit the Sell button, and vice versa, which may add time to your process as you have to think about what you are doing. But if this is not an issue for you, then again, it does not matter.
