HI,

I tried to follow the steps as described in the help section, to load only 10 days of data. Chart shows only 10 days of data, but the data its downloading in GBs, which causes my PC to run slow. Can you please let me know how to reduce checking only last 30 days of historical data.

Thanks
N

You can limit the initial amount of data downloaded through the following setttings:
Data/Trade Service Settings: Maximum Historical Intraday Days to Download (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings)

But, over time, the amount of stored data is going to grow. There is no way to tell the system to only store the most recent 10 days of data. You would have to delete and redownload the data in order to make this happen.

The other thing you can do is to change the Intraday Storage Time Unit, if you do not need the data at every tick. Refer to the following:
Data/Trade Service Settings: Intraday Data Storage Time Unit (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Settings)

And finally, to clean up old symbols, particularly if you are trading futures, refer to the following:

For an existing chart, after you have changed the "Maximum Historical Intraday Days to Download", you would need to select "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download" in order to clear out any older data and then only get the number of days you have specified.
