Hi is there a data cap for intraday data on these symbols?

Historical charts load all the way back to 5/28 . No gaps in historical data

Intraday charts only load back to 10/15

thanks

That is all the intraday data we have for the CBOE Indices. It is limited because that is when we started offering that data.

I know of the limitation going back to the offering date, but I just can't seem to get intraday charts to go further back than the 10/15 date I mentioned. I should be able to get intraday charts all the way back to the offering date.

I've been going through the various options to load more intraday data and nothing works, so I was wondering if there was a intraday cap.

Sorry, we did not read the initial post correctly. You definitely can get data going back to May 28, 2024 for these symbols. We just tried it and get the data for all 3 of them.

Follow these instructions to get additional data:
Historical Intraday Data (Missing Data / Download Errors / Viewing More Data): Using 'Date Range in File >> From' to Download More Historical Data

I figured out what the problem is

Columbus day 10/14 is messing up the intraday download when you choose to Delete All Data and Download for any CBOE symbol.

I figured this out by opening up a new chartbook and I downloaded the intraday symbols just fine.

However as soon as you choose to delete all data and download, it limits you to 10/15 and nothing works to resolve that problem besides opening up a new chartbook.

We do see the oddity of Columbus Day showing as a constant set of data for FVX, but we are able to download the data prior to that just fine by changing the "Date Range in File From".

Thank you it's working now, previously when I was changing the dates it would just resort back to 10/15 after I pressed apply.

All set, thank you for your help
