Hi,

Enjoying all the great studies, but when I go to edit, I can't tell which one I am shooting for. It just has "ID number", which really means nothing at all to me as an end user, because they are not even in order of entry if I delete something and add a new one, so basically it seems that it is a "programming" tool, but serves no actual purpose from the user standpoint. I'd really like to see the values of some aspect of the study, or at least a note that I create myself so that I can find the things I need to edit more quickly. Thank you for all your hard work!!! Sierra is the best!!!

We are not sure what you are referring to. What do you mean by "I go to edit". What just has "ID number"?

The "Studies to Graph" window has a list of included studies:
They say something like:
Bollinger Bands. ID: some number
Moving Average. ID: some number
Stochastic. ID: some number

The ID: some number part is useless to me.
I need to see the values of that study, so I know which one it is! ;-)
Thank you!

We are still not understanding this. What "values of that study" are you referring to?

In any case, it does not seem as though any changes would be made in the end.

You need the ID# when writing alert formulas.

Enter something in the Short Name field to identify each indicator, e.g.
EMA 21
Stoch 10,3,3

Press OK and OK and it will show when you return to the Studies to Graph.
