How can I set an alert based on a study setting that I have. If I want an alert when a particular study has activated i.e within the subgraph tab of a particular study, if I want an alert based on (SG2) conditions being met, is that possible? I have tried looking in the forum but can't see anything for this specific query

The information for how to setup alerts is at the following link: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning If you need help setting up an alert, then we would need to know the situation you are wanting to alert on. Thanks. I have looked through this page already. I want to know if it’s possible to add an alert based on a study subgraph condition being met I have a study setting with SG1, SG2 etc. I want to just have an alert if the condition of SG2 has been met |

We need more information. What exactly do you mean by "SG2 has been met". Depending on the situation, the alert condition would vary. For instance, the condition that SG2 is "true" would be the following: =SG2 Or, if the subgraph needs to be above a certain price level, then it would look like the following: =SG2 > 5200.25 And so on. Also, where you enter the alert will determine how you need to enter the formula - with or without the reference to the study. So, if you enter the Alert Condition on the Chart Settings window, then you would need to reference the study as well as the subgraph, which would look like the following: =ID1.SG2 All of the above is discussed on the Alerts page as well. I am looking for SG2 condition to be met, so yes that would mean the SG2 would be true if I understand correctly. SG2 in one particular case is an exhaustion for delta divergence being met. So, I want to receive an alert when this condition is true. So, for an alert to be sent would I enter it in the chart settings window? |

It is best that whatever study you have that SG2 is the study on which you create the alert. Therefore, the formula would be the following: =SG2 For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
