When you start changing the horizontal spacing on a chart (I'm not sure if that is the correct term).. I mean when i use the shift + scroll wheel on the chart are it starts getting wider and wider... is there a way to restore this horizontal chart spacing to exactly what it was prior to using the scroll wheel? (I mean not just scrolling back in the other direction) |

There is not way to do this. There is no history of the bar spacing such that you can "jump back" to the way the spacing was at a particular time. There is the Zoom-In/Zoom-Out tool that you might find useful for this kind of thing. Refer to the following: Working With Charts: Zoom In Tool The other thing that can help you with resetting the spacing, is the number in the bottom right corner of the chart. That number gives you the pixel spacing between the bars. So if you note that value when you have the chart a certain way you want it, then when you change the spacing, and want to go back, you can be sure to get back to the particular view by getting that number to be the same value as it was previously. Refer to the following: Working With Charts: Chart Settings Indicators at Lower Right of Chart For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

ah that's great.. glad I asked. I didn't realize the bottom right number was the spacing between bars, I had thought it had something to do with the right side margin.
