When I'm backtesting in a previous year I have the proper data loaded with the proper amount of days to load for my charts and continuous contracts set. However, when I am say 2 years in the past all time frames are properly working EXCEPT when I go to a Daily Timeframe (or higher - Weekly, Monthly, etc). When I attempt to go to a Daily while I'm backtesting in previous years, the Daily Timeframe jumps me back to present day. How do I get it so that the Daily Time Frame keeps me in the timeframe I'm trying to stay at. For Example: I'm backtesting the first week of June 2022. I don't want to see anything charts after this to hide what has happened to properly backtest. So far I have this working. But when I jump to a Daily time frame expecting it to be the Daily for the first week of June 2022 - Sierra Charts jumps me to the Daily of present day. |

You can only run a backtest on Daily Historical data using the Bar Based Back Testing. Refer to the following: Auto Trade System Back Testing: Bar Based Back Testing For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
