I understand there are 6 unique keyboard shortcut possibilities for changing order quantity. This is not enough for me. Can you advise how I would be able to have more than 6? Does it require me creating a custom study? Can you provide any basic info regarding the code that would help me with this? From what I've read online it could possibly be achieved using a custom study linked with custom study buttons on the control bar? The issue with using a study for this is there would, I assume, be a lag which is really problematic. The built-in 6 order quantity keyboard shortcuts have no lag, you can switch between them instantly, and I'm looking for this kind of speed. |

I note on this page:Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Custom Trading Keyboard Shortcuts The following is written: "Changing Trade Order Quantity for Chart with Keyboard Shortcut [Link] - [Top] It is supported to change the trade Order Quantity within the chart with a keyboard shortcut. Go to the chart you want to change the Order Quantity for. Type with your keyboard the letters OQ. Type the order quantity you want to change to. Press the Enter key on the keyboard. The Order Quantity will be changed and can be verified through the Quantity setting on the Trade Window for the chart. Example: OQ5 followed by the Enter key." This would solve my problem but as far as I can tell it doesn't work. I followed the instructions as written and nothing happened. Is there a command that I first need to assign "OQ" to in the "Customize Keyboard Shortcuts" window? |

Ok nevermind, the OQ method in my second post actually does work which solves my problem.
