Hello, My Trade window is doing some weird stuff and I can't figure out how to fix it. If I take 3 contract long entry and my first take profit is hit, the trade window will move my entry down to a random level below my actual entry. if it takes the second Take profit the same thing will happen. This makes it look like my open P/L is greater than it actually is. In the snip i shared the thick green dashed line is my actual entry and the solid blue is where it randomly moved after my first TP. Thanks for any help!! |

What is "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading >> Open Position Average Price" set to for that chart?

"Use FIFO Fill Matching for open position average price."

Keep in mind that the order line is going to show the level at which the Average price is for all the orders you have at that time. So if you entered some orders at one time, then enter orders later, the Position Average Price is going to change. The opposite is then true, if you exit some of your position, the remaining orders are going to make up the new average price - so it will move. In your case, since you are using LIFO (Last In First Out) the most recent orders are the first ones removed. Its doing it without me averaging in. I can enter 2 contracts on one limit order and the same thing will happen.

We are not understanding what you are stating when you say that "Its doing it without me averaging in. I can enter 2 contracts on one limit order and the same thing will happen." Your position line is always an average, so there is no way to not have this occur, unlike attached orders in which you can decide to Scale In or Scale Out.
