The reason for this is that the 200 MA needs to have 200 bars before it can start to give you data. Keep in mind that when you specify 200 days of data, that is 200 calendar days that the system looks back, which includes weekends. So you will not have 300 bars of 1 day data, it will be less by 5/7ths, so approximately 214 bars.

You can not put a Volume by Price profile on the right side of the DOM. From the image you supplied, we are guessing that the column on the right is the Current Traded Volume column and has the Volume Bars displayed for that data. Refer to the following: Global Trade Settings Windows: Customize Chart/Trade DOM Columns (Chart Specific) But we can not say for sure what that column is, and it could be something created from a custom study. There is not an automated way to do this. You would to reset that column manually at that time.

For anyone that comes across this and wonders how to reset, you right click on the DOM background where your traded volume is and in the middle there is a option to clear all, above or below where you right clicked. Cheers

@Jaydtrade GCUserStudies has a free 3rd party study that allows to reset the recent and current traded columns of the DOM at specific times (session start etc) automatically. https://gcuserstudies.github.io/ |
