Version 2679, just updated to see if it would fix this issue but it did not. I have been running a replay (Spreadsheet System) for several days and have many trades in my TAL. But if I turn off autotrading (to avoid duplicating trades) and run a replay over a time period containing any of those trades, they will not appear on the charts. If I then pause the replay, and turn OFF Show Order Fills, and then turn them back on, suddenly they appear... but no more will appear when I resume the replay. And turning order fills off & on appears to reset study formulas as well because some of my studies lose their state, so even if I wanted to turn order fills off & on at every bar, I can't as it messes up critical studies I'm trying to monitor. Has anyone else seen this? Any ideas on how to solve/fix? |

And now SC just ballooned up to consume over 50GB of RAM (I have 64 in the machine) and lock up my system. Had to force kill it from Task Manager. Launched it again, went to delete some lines from the TAL that shouldn't have been there (weird errant trade for no apparent reason) and after sitting for about 5 minutes... SC suddenly quit and for a brief moment I glimpsed again about 50GB of memory consumption in Task Manager. This is very closely adjacent to issues I'd been having for months dealing with the TAL and attempted to document here: https://www.sierrachart.com/SupportBoard.php?ThreadID=90851 Essentially it seems that as soon as the TAL grows to any significant number of trades (hundreds of trades, over several months at least), bad behaviors begin to manifest. At this moment for example, I have a TAL .data file for account "None" that was last updated today, and is 8.5GB in size. This is severely hampering my attempts to do any replay tests at any sort of scale. Would hugely appreciate any suggestions on how to correct these issues... thanks. |

Thanks, but I'm already more familiar with that page than I would care to be and this has nothing at all to do with the original issue I posted in #1 above. There is no QC at all. My order fills will not appear on the chart on a replay, unless I pause the replay, turn order fills OFF, then turn them back ON. I have to do this at every single bar in order to see the fills up to that point. But doing so, resets studies I'm using, and therefore invalidates anything I hope to learn from looking at the trade executions. I believe doing this led to the issues in post #2, but is separate from them. |

The documentation we linked is directly applicable, to post #2 and post #1. There is a large amount of trading activity, causing high memory use and performance issues. And this is not hundreds of trades. There must be hundreds of thousands or millions of trade activity entries. Definitely not hundreds. That is impossible to be using that kind of memory at all. You need to look at the data in the log , and see what all of these entries are for. Refer to the documentation and look at the TradeActivityLogs for subfolder. You can see the large files there. We simply cannot provide any further help. You are in full control of this. Your activity is generating all of those entries. 363 Trades. I think that qualifies as hundreds.

Also, please explain how this is relevant to the order fills only displaying if I turn them off and back on... I'm not seeing the connection.
