Hello! I placed a selling order and it was rejected. This is the message from Teton CME Order Routing: "Sell order stop price must be below last trade price". My question is: What can I do to be able to place a sell order above the last trade price? Thanks! |

You need to enter that order as a "Stop-Limit". Refer to the following: Order Types: Stop-Limit For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hello! Yes, all my orders are set as "Stop-Limit". Also, my chart is not "locked", I can place orders. I will explain my issue again. Eg. The market is going up. I want to be able to place an order above the current price. When the market hits that order placed above, I want to Sell or Buy. My order is rejected immediately. The order does not appear on the chart. Please give me a solution. I need this type of order Asap. Thanks! |

It sounds like you are trying to place the order as a "Limit" order, not as a "Stop-Limit". You can not enter a Buy Limit order above the current price, as the current market price is already better, so it would immediately fill. The Teton Order Routing service is rejecting that order for this reason. If you are actually entering the order as a Stop-Limit, then we would need to see the messages in your "Trade Service Log" by following these instructions: Support Board Posting Information: Providing Lines From Trade Service Log For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
