I have subscribed to the real-time data feed from Sierra Chart. However, on my second computer, I only want to use delayed data, as that's sufficient for my needs. I set the option "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" to NO. I have also tried deleting and redownloading the data like Data Errors or Spikes in Charts, Flat or Flat Line Graph, Compressed Graph, Errors with Date/Time Values The problem is that, even with "Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" set to "NO", the chart loads data up to the current time. The price data stream still works with a delay, but I need to wait for the delayed time before the bars on the chart start moving again. This is causing issues with gaps and delays in the chart updates. How can I fix this problem? Check the image https://imgtr.ee/images/2024/08/28/f6433b2acf8787717753e5a01b8fee62.png |

What you are stating will occur if you Delete and Download the data. In which case, you need to wait 10 minutes for the delayed data to start flowing properly with what you have loaded in your system. Is there a reason you are deleting and redownloading the data? You should not be doing this unless there is a problem. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I start Sierra Chart (SC) on a second PC with "Data/Trade Service Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" set to "NO" only! Today, when I started it for the first time, I did not select to delete or redownload data. However, SC automatically loaded the difference between the last time SC was closed and today’s start, which is around 8 hours of history. I am facing the same problem again. https://imgtr.ee/image/h13PhD In your opinion, do I need to wait for a delay every time I start Sierra Chart (SC)? |

Yes, you will have to wait the 10 minutes after you have first started the system, since it is downloading missing data. That missing data is going to go up to the current time.
