Dear Support Team, I'm having an issue with with the Color bar based on alert condition study. I am trying to color certain bars with future and past references and conditions. It is working properly on already established past charts. However, in a live market or when applying the chart replay, the bars do not color. If it helps, I found out that the bars do color when I go into the chart studies (F6) and press the "Apply" button manually every time when the condition is met, which is practically not doable when trading live. I attached a chartbook with the respective studies. Looking forward for help & thanks in advance |

The only thing we can recommend is making sure the option for "Reset Condition on New Bar" is enabled on each of the Color Bar studies. Otherwise, what is occurring would be due to your setup and is something you would need to troubleshoot. There certainly is no issue with the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study itself, as this has been used extensively and there have not been any changes to it in a very long time. Hey John, Enabling "Reset Condition on New Bar" on each individual study did not solve the problem. I haven't had an issue with the color bar study so far and have been using extensively, too. I am sure that I did not make an error since the the bars are printing correctly when the chart is already established. No worries though, I'll have to find a workaround then. Thanks for your reply |
