fxcm.com and "FXCM Trading Station" are suggested by SC, with caveat that SC won't work with FXCM demo account. Too bad, because TS is extremely fragile and slower than SC. Example: add a symbol to active list, click "ok" without first "apply" and hung program must be killed via TaskManager. I tried to compare Forex charts, using these currency pairs. First column is Forex, last is Sierra nearest symbol, for continuous charts. EUR/USD Euro/US dollar MFU14 CHF/JPY Swiss franc/Japanese yen UPU14 GBP/CHF Pound sterling/Swiss franc UNU14 EUR/AUD Euro/Australian dollar EQU14 EUR/CAD Euro/Canadian dollar UEU14 AUD/CAD Australian dollar/Canadian dollar ASU14 CAD/JPY Canadian dollar/Japanese yen UFU14 GBP/NZD Pound sterling/New Zealand dollar GNU14 AUD/NZD Australian dollar/New Zealand dollar ARU14 The two sets of charts have little resemblance, the SC are all too thin. I conclude that the SC are futures, not actual currency pairs. Is there any easy way for me to see FX pairs on SC without first committing to a live account at fxcm.com? |

Looks great. Wish you had made that more obvious earlier. Suddenly no downloads as of #33 of 60. Log says "The network socket for historical data has been closed. 2014-08-29 14:51:52." Does that mean I am shut down until next month? What schedules should I know about? |

If you do not get data for a particular symbol, then this means that data is not available for that symbol with the particular Data or Trading service you are using. For these symbols: EURJPY-BID EURUSD-BID EURUSD-BIDASK Historical data is recorded using these suffixes on our server.
