Everyday around 8am est all stocks have a giant range and volume bar with the Consolidated Tape. This isn't present on Nasdaq Total View (when I was using and comparing) and not present on other data feeds I'm using. I think this occurs a few other times during the day as well. Any ideas on what is going on here doesn't seem accurate. |

See attached no trades on SPY traded here at 8am est. Happens on all stocks aapl, nvda, spy, qqq etc.

This is data transmitted by CTA. We recommend not including, the pre-and post-hours trading in the chart by adjusting the Session Times: Chart Session Times: Session Times Possibly this data can be filtered out but it is a lot of work to figure out what particular trading codes Is causing this.
