no I am not using custom studies. I did not go to resource monitor on task manager to see sierra memory usuage but I know that I was using up 40% of memory as per task manager on a 64gig machine.

Go to the Processes tab of the Windows Task manager a look at the SierraChart.exe process. What is the Memory (Private Working Set) when you notice this problem.

137,996k, it stopped doing it. I think I downloaded to musch data and I deleted and reloaded some of it
