Hi, Is there any study to calculate a truncated moving average? I would like to have a study where I specify the % of extreme values to be discarded and then calculate the average with the rest of values. Thank you. |

We do not have a study that does this. You could use the Spreadsheet Study to control the particular data and then use the "Moving Average Simple - Skip Zeros" to get your moving average of the modified data. Refer to the following: Using the Spreadsheet Study Moving Average - Simple Skip Zeros Otherwise, you could create a custom study that does what you want. Refer to the following: How to Build an Advanced Custom Study from Source Code List of Third Party Sierra Chart Study and System Programmers For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
