Unlink Days to Load?

I have intraday charts set to 1 day, 5 minutes and 60 minutes. They are linked for Symbol, Scroll Position and Session Times. Unfortunately, they also load the same number of days. I would like to load 1,000 days for the 1 Day chart, 30 days for the 5 minute and perhaps 90 days for the 60 minute. Right now everything loads whatever is the latest setting, so I have 1000 days loading on 5 minute and 60 minute charts which really slows things down. Is there a way to separate the days loaded, and if not would it be possible to introduce this? |

In this case, you need to uncheck linking of Session Times.

Thanks, in that case is it possible to introduce that as a separate feature, so that the default is not loading the same number of days? The problem with unlinking session times is with the time changes. My FX charts are set to London session times so that would mean 4 times a year changing the session times for each chart (66 charts currently). No idea of the complexity of this, but if is a simple tweak it would be much appreciated. |

I've figured out a workaround. It would be nice to have the feature requested, but I'd only ask if it is the simplest of fixes. |

@Futures Operator. As my primary concerns are loading different number of days on different charts and ease of changing session times, this is what I came up with. Existing 10-12 symbols per Chartbook, each symbol with 1 day, 5 Min and 60 Min intraday charts, separate links for each symbol including SYMBOL, SCROLL POSITION and SESSION TIMES. Thus 10-12 links per chartbook. New Links only for SESSION TIMES, separate links for 1 Day, 5 minute and 60 minute charts, thus 3 links per chartbook. I can thus load different number of days for each. What I Lose Symbol links - not a big deal as I rarely change symbols SCROLL POSITION - This is useful when looking back in order to compare different time frames. So, I saved the Chartbooks with a different name so that I have the original links. As they feed off the same data files, they stay updated anyway. Of course this means loading fewer days, but I can manage as this is a very specific use. What I Gain Four times a year, instead of changing session times 10-12 times for each chartbook, I only need to change 3 times per chartbook. I can load the highest number of days for the higher time frames, reducing to the lowest. Hope this helps. |

We have removed the synchronization of Days to Load when linking by Session Times.
