I'm looking for some help in this situation. Say I have a limit order to buy 5 using a limit order together with associated stop and target orders. Price comes down to my limit price and I get filled on 3 of the 5. Price then moves up and I want to cancel the 2 unfilled orders along with the associated targets & stops. Can anyone tell me how to do this in the simplest, quickest, and most reliable manner? Thanks! |

Ideally there would be a "cancel all orders that aren't attached stops or targets for an existing open position" button, but it doesn't exist (as far as I know). Available options depend on your chart setup. If you trade using the DOM or the Chart DOM, you can just click the X on the remaining limit order line. If you have confirmations disabled, it's just the one click. The attached orders will automatically get cancelled too. Chart Trading and the Chart DOM: Modifying and Canceling Orders on the Chart You can also cancel orders from the Trade Orders window, but it's not as easy: Trading Information Windows: Canceling Orders I'm sure other users can be more helpful, these are the only two ways I know. |
