Please view the screen shot attached. I'm a chart trader and today was my first day trading here. After the day ended it says DPL:30.25 at the top of the chart, which I thought meant I made $30.25 trading MNQ today. However, when I look at my trade account log it says my daily PL is $60.50. So what is going on here? when I place an order on the 5 minute chart is it also duplicating that order on the 3 minute chart right next to it? |

First of all, the orders are not being duplicated between the charts. It is just the one order being shown on both charts. Any chart with the same Symbol and having "Trade >> Chart Trade Mode On" enabled will show the orders and positions. The issue with the DPL is that you are displaying the DPL in Points on the Chart (this can be seen by the 'P' after the value on the chart), but then viewing it in Currency in the Trade Activity Log. Refer to the following for how to change the format of the P/L on the chart: Chart Settings: Profit/Loss Format (List) (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
