Hello,

I have noticed (several times), that after an Sierra update "Trading Keyboard Shortcuts Enabled" is always enabled (even if it is not - I mean: it is not checked), it needs to be checked and unchecked to get it disabled.
It made me really upset several times: Is it possible to disable it completely? Is it problem in my enviromment?

Thanks you
Tom

This does not make sense. This is a technical impossibility.

That particular setting is specific to each individual chart. It is not global.

And we see no relationship at all to updating Sierra Chart. That makes no technical sense either. Updating Sierra Chart cannot possibly be affecting this. And when you check that setting on the menu, it will show its current state for the active chart. There cannot be any failure with this at all.

OK, so is there any other reason why (after update) space bar is working like "place order"?
... it has to have an connection to "Trading Keyboard Shortcuts Enabled", because I checked it and unchecked, and space bar do nothing now.

None of the charts have this feature turned on (I just checked it). So is it possible to turn "Trading Keyboard Shortcuts Enabled" on randomly with the keyboard shortcut?

A spacebar could be causing a button to be pushed on the Trade Window. That is part of the operating system functionality. Not Sierra Chart.

That would be the explanation. And then when you interact with the menu, the focus is shifted away from the Trade Window preventing the spacebar from doing anything more.

Only if you set up a specific keyboard shortcut for this particular command and used it:
. So is it possible to turn "Trading Keyboard Shortcuts Enabled" on randomly with the keyboard shortcut?

Thanks you for explanation.
I have never heard about this functionality, can you please provide an specific information what to look for to disable this in Windows (11), or what function is actually interacting like this?

Thanks you

We do not know how to disable this.

This is not within the scope of our support. Any operating system pushbutton, can be triggered by a spacebar.
